Daryle Wayne Wilder

September 6, 1947 — July 27, 2024

Daryle Wayne Wilder, age 76, of Pineville, KY, entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born in Insull, KY on September 6, 1947, the son of the late Arnold and Geneva Cox Wilder. 

Daryle was a longtime coal miner who was proud of his work in the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky. After his retirement, he found great pleasure in attending auctions, flea markets and yard sales. He discovered a second family in all the friends he made while hunting for the next great find.

In addition to his parents, Daryle was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Gilbert and brother-in-law, Mike Miracle. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Vickie Miracle Wilder; children, Amy (Matthew) Robbins, Tracy (Wayne) Gentry, Josh (Amanda) Collins, Randi Wyatt, and Brandi Jo Wilder; grandchildren, Jared (Tori) Robbins, Josiah (Emma) Robbins, Elaine (Caleb) Jackson, William Hopper, Nathaniel Hopper, Danielle Gentry Glass, Caitlyn Gentry, Elizabeth Gentry, Anderson Gentry, Blake Collins, Gunner Wyatt, Tucker Wyatt, Reagan Fuson, and Rylee Jo Fuson; sisters-in-law, Paula (Randy) Berry, Charlotte (Rick) Gambrel, and Jeanette Miracle; great-grandchildren, Carlin Robbins, Noah Grant Robbins, and Heidi Kate Jackson; siblings, Carolyn Sue (Terrell) Gibson, Arnold “Bugs” (Elizabeth) Wilder, Jr., Beatrice (Ronnie) Gambrel, and Sharon Gayle (Keith) Barton; special uncle, Danny Wilder, Jr., special niece, Kristy Wilder Emery; special nephews, Richard Wilder, Jason Scott, and Colby Berry; special friends, Michelle and Donnie Elliott, Amy Elliott, Shelia and Ron Partin, and his auction and yard sale family as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

The family of Daryle Wilder will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. 

Funeral Services for Daryle Wilder will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY, with Rev.Charlie Napier and Rev. Hardy Franks presiding. Music will be provided by Charlotte Gambrel and Jason Scott.  At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to the Cubbage Cemetery, Pineville, KY, where graveside services will be held. 

Pallbearers will be Josh Collins, Jason Scott, William Hopper, Nathan Hopper, Jared Robbins, Josiah Robbins, Anderson Gentry, and William Emery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Mills, Johnny Adams, Jerry Goodin, Larry Hoskins, Gary Hoskins, Ricky Gambrel, and Ron Partin.
