Curtis Leslie “Les” Baker, 81, of Pineville, KY, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1939 in Pineville, KY, the son of the late Foster and Mary Baker. In addition to his parents, his wife: Vesta Baker, 2 Brothers: Anthony and Leonard Baker and a son-in-law: Julian Mays. He was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith. Les proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by the following members of his family:
Daughters: Vicki Mays and Alicia (Herman) Jones
Brothers: Wayne Baker and Carl Baker
Sister: Janice Williams
5 Granddaughters, 1 Great Granddaughter, 2 Great Grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Harris presiding. Music will be provided by Kenny Goodin and William Uhrig.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
Full military honors will be given at the graveside by the Jellico Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
All Covid-19 regulations, including masks and social distancing will be observed.
