Curtis Ray Murrell, age 53, of Middlesboro, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born January 27, 1971, son of the late Carl Hayden Murrell and Dorothy Ellen Phelps.
In his livelihood, Curtis was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed Nascar, Wrestling, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a handy man of sorts. We will always treasure his charm and the charisma he has left with us.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Murrell Dennis; best friend, Robert Rainey; and beloved dogs, Chloe, Razor, & Baby (Beta).
Left to mourn his passing are his wife and soulmate of the last 20 years, Patsy Ann Murrell; daughters, Rebecca (Chance) Boggs, Veronica Mullins, Tiffany Mullins, and Geneva Mullins; son, Stoney (Junior) Mullins; brothers, Eddie (Kim) Murrell, and Buddy Murrell; sisters, Melissa Murrell, and Christa Murrell; eight grandsons; three granddaughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
We will never forget the cheerfulness Curtis brought to our lives, and we will sorely miss his sense of humor.
Graveside services for Curtis will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the George Partin Cemetery in Frakes, KY, with Pastor Jeff Kersey and Brother Alva Robinson presiding.
