Clyde Earle

Clyde Phillip Earle, born March 26, 1932 in Middleboro, KY. He went home to be with Jesus on March 17, 2021.

Clyde served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. After the military he moved to Indianapolis where he started his music career in country music. Clyde even sang at the Grand Ole Opry in 1960. When Clyde rededicated his life to the Lord in 1973 his music was focused solely on Jesus. Most requested was ‘The Broken Rose’, but his testimony song was ‘The Kind Shepherd’. Clyde was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he served as choir leader and Sunday School teacher.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Roy Earle and Clara (Smith) Earle, brother Roy Eugene Earle, sisters Joyce (Earle) Partin and Sarah (Earle) Conatser. Children, Edward Earle and Phillip Earle, aka Auslin Hudson. Daughters-in-law Gail Earle and Jean Earle.

Clyde was married to Eva Rosadean (Monday) Earle for 48 years. He is survived by brothers Troy (Virginia) Earle, Joe (Betty) Earle, Steve (Phyllis) Earle, sister Judy (Earle) Collins, his wife, Eva Earle, and children Curtis Earle (Greenwood, IN), Jeff Earle (Greenwood, IN), Greg (Jennifer) Earle (Indianapolis, IN), Phoebe Justice (Indianapolis, IN), Daniel Earle (Franklin, IN), Paula Earle (Shelbyville, IN). Grandchildren: Christina Plank, Brittany Rismiller, Joshua (Renee) Earle, Nehemiah Earle, Timothy Earle, Christopher Earle, Sheila Earle, Miranda Earle, Emily Earle, Ginger (Stephen) Smith, Jonathan Earle, Benjamin Earle, Arin Justice, Cameron Justice, and Caileigh Earle. Great Grand Children: KayleeAnna Earle, Bryden Earle, Alayna Earle, James Smith.

Funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. George Monday and Rev. Keith Medley presiding.  Music will be provided by Alvie Cunningham, Debbie Terry, Ginger Smith and Benjamin Earle.

Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery in Middlesboro with full military honors being given by the Jellico Honor Guard.  Pallbearers will be Curtis Earle, Jeff Earle, Greg Earle, Daniel Earle, Joshua Earle, Jonathan Earle, Cameron Justice and Benjamin Earle.

The Earle Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Middlesboro.
