Christopher Baker

Christopher M. Baker, age 38, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, KY.  He was born May 15, 1983, in Middlesboro, KY, the son of the late Jimmy Ray Baker and Edna Boldin Baker who survives.  He was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Boldin.

Chris was an avid fisherman and loved watching his beloved Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Daughter, Abby "Sugarbear" Baker

Mother, Edna Baker

Brother, Brian Baker

Nephews, Brian Christopher Baker and Bentley Baker

and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family of Christopher M. Baker will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Greene officiating.

Graveside services for Christopher M. Baker will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Middlesboro Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Miniard, Michael Miniard, Ray Gibson, Brian C. Baker, Greg Herrell and Floyd Ball.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Evans and Mark Hensley.
