Charles Robbins

Charles Douglas Robbins, age 61, of Pineville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, peacefully at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, KY. He was born on November 3, 1957 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Charles Edward Robbins and Annanette Robbins of Pineville, KY.

Doug was a beloved husband and best friend to his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Lynn Robbins. They thrived in love and life and raised three children, Joseph Daniel Robbins, Amanda Renee` Robbins and Logan Douglas Robbins. Their home was one of joy and laughter and an abundance of caring.

He adored his family and also his career spent in the United State Air Force. He took great pride in his service but was also quite humble about it.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Randall Robbins.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda; mother Annanette Robbins, children Joseph and wife Kristy Robbins, Amanda Robbins, Logan Robbins; brothers and sisters; Christine Robbins, Jeff and Annette Robbins, Anthony and Kim Robbins, and Betty and Paul Hoskins; grandchildren: Evan and Ava Campbell, Haley and husband Brandon Clark and Wrylan Lickliter and one great granddaughter, Ciel Clark. In addition to a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. All of whom he cared for so deeply.

The family will receive friends starting at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 14, at the Calvin Primitive Baptist Church until the funeral hour at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 15, 2019. Graveside services will follow at the Miracle Cemetery on Williams Branch. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
