Brenda Partin

Brenda Marie Partin, age 78, of Clairfield, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Tennova North Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.   She was born October 8, 1942, in Mason Kentucky, the daughter of the late Estell Mason and Lillian Collier Mason.

Being a single mother, she raised 4 children, which made her a very strong, reliable and independent woman who could be stern or loving according to the situation. She worked in the shirt factory for many years, until her children were raised, and the business closed. She reconnected with her twin flame, who she married and had many happy years together watching and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Brenda and her husband ran The Grill in Clairfield, TN, for many years and she received numerous certificates for her volunteer work throughout the valley.

She enjoyed many hobbies.  She was a self-taught guitar and piano player, by doing this it allowed her to play for the church youth group. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful dollies and table scarfs. She enjoyed the outdoors and all the fishing trips she took with her husband and family.  Although, the trips she took with her brothers and their wives, were some of her fondest memories. Brenda was ready to leave this world, but was her world ready for her leave? No, no it was not. She left behind many who love her and will miss her terribly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Doyle Ray Partin; her youngest and oldest sons, Robert Wayne Webster, (Bobby or Bob) and Kevin Dole Webster; daughter, Laura Jean Taylor; brother, Glenn Mason; and three sisters, Valeria Laurene Mason, Margaret Ann Ratliff and Velma Schuerman.

She is survived by the following members of her family, who will miss her greatly:  Her children, Marie Webster of Clairfield, TN, Leonard Webster and wife, Sandra of Lenoir, NC, Timothy Webster and wife, Becca of Corinth, KY and Tammy Partin and husband, Dave, of Corbin, KY.   Brenda also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, too many to name, but loved just as much.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Graveside services will immediately follow in the New Vine Cemetery in Frakes, KY.
