Bobby Wilson

Bobby Ray Wilson, age 68, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital, after a battle with Covid.  He was born November 28, 1953, in Middlesboro, KY, the son of the late Clarence and Myrtie Wilson.

Bobby was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after a truck wreck in Tympaki, Crete.  He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY from a very early age.  He loved his family, his church and church family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James Wilson, Danny Wilson and Thomas Wilson; and his sister, Sallie Wilson.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Wife of 38 years, Dianne Robertson Wilson

Sons, Chris (Michealla) Wilson and Charles Wilson

Brothers, Larry (Arleen) Wilson, Jackie Wilson, Ronnie (Darlene) Wilson, Tilman Wilson and Randy (Lois) Wilson

Sisters, Brenda Wilson, Wanda Collins and Mary Hoskins

Grandchildren, Abreah (Jacob) Napier, Zarric Queen and Paige Cordell

His little fur baby, Buttons

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Astor Simpson and Mr. Charlie Price presiding.  Music will be provided by the Northside Baptist Church Choir.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Red Hill Cemetery #2 in Speedwell, TN.
