Betty Mcgeorge

Betty Faye Wilder McGeorge, age 81, of Tompkinsville, KY, formerly of Balkan, KY, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Monroe County Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1938, the daughter of the late Danny and Amanda Wilder.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul McGeorge; brothers, Arnold Wilder and Martin Wilder; and sisters, Lillian Miracle and Thelma McFarland.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Sons: Robin (Linda) Wilder of Knoxville, TN and Joe (Shelia) McGeorge of Tompkinsville, KY

Grandchildren: Brooke (Patrick) Uzzle, Amanda McGeorge, Ashlee McGeorge

Half Brother: Danny Wilder, Jr.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Turner officiating. Graveside service will immediately follow in the Balkan Cemetery at Balkan, KY.
