Barbara Peace

Barbara Ann Peace, 57, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away November 23, 2019 at the Middlesboro ARH.

She was born February 14, 1962 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Virgie Moore Smith. She was a member of the Old Fashion Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Wilburn Smith, Harold Smith and Freddie Smith; and one sister: Ophelia Turner. She is survived by the following members of her family:

Husband: Tim Peace

3 Children: Amanda (James, Jr.) Strunk, Misty (Doug Jeter) Jones and Corey Blackburn

Grandchildren: Paige Strunk, Caleb Strunk, Timothy Jones, Olivia Jeter, Mia Jeter and Conner Blackburn.

Great grandchildren: Addalyn Miller, Kyleigh Miller, Treyton Miller and Bennsyn Miller

2 Brothers: Charlie Ray Smith and Tommy Smith

2 Sisters: Hester Good and Selda Sowders

Lifelong friend: Dena Poore

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Nash presiding. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery on Stevens Branch in Middlesboro.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, at the Creech Funeral Home.
