Ancil Stewart, Jr.

Mr. Ancil Shirley Stewart, Jr. age 88 formerly of Blackstar, KY passed away August 23, 2020 at his home in Goshen, OH surrounded by his family.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  Mr. Stewart was the son of the late Ancil Shirley Stewart, Sr. and Lydia Stewart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Johnny and Marvin Stewart and one sister: Judy McGeorge.

Mr. Stewart leaves behind his loving wife: Loretta (Simpson) Stewart; children: Ricky (Vickie) Stewart, Cheryl Dwyer, David Ray (Judy) Stewart, Paula Creekmore and Robert Stewart.  Two brothers: Mason Stewart and Haskel Stewart; seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family of Ancil Stewart, Jr. will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2020 from 12 noon until 2:00pm at the Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. David Howard officiating.  Music will be provided by Billy and Teresa Stewart.  Burial will immediately follow in the Alva Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Blackstar, KY with full Military Honors.  Pallbearers will be Mr. Stewarts Grandsons.
