America Alberta Williams

America Alberta Williams, age 84, of Ewing, VA, entered her heavenly home Thursday night, January 3, 2025, while surrounded by loving family and friends. Alberta was born on May 3, 1940, in Rose Hill, VA, to the late Dewey and Lettie Delph Wilson.

Alberta was a member of Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church. She retired from Peerless Greer in Clinton, MI. She loved attending church and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an independent woman who always stayed busy and enjoyed doing yard work and tending to her garden and flowers. 

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; son, Randy Williams; grandson, Justin Long; and eight sisters. 

She is survived by her children, Robin (Tammy) Williams of Ewing, VA, Rebecca Jo (Rodney) Long of Rose Hill, VA, and Ronald (Rhonda) Williams of London, KY; nine grandchildren, Michelle (Jim) Smith of Ewing, VA, Heather (Jason) Howard of Ewing, VA, Brandi (Nathaniel) Roberts of Speedwell, TN, Tasha Long, Cody (Amy) Long of Ewing, VA, Ryan Williams of London, KY, Riley (Katelyn) Williams of London, KY, Natasha (Jacob Hunley) of Tazewell TN, and Jonathan (Janelle) Williams of Orting, WA; as well as a host of great grandchildren.

The family of America Alberta Williams will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Richard Long presiding. 

Immediately after the funeral service, family and friends will meet at the Fee Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA, where gravesides services will be held.     

Pallbearers will be Ryan Williams, Riley Williams, Jonathan Williams, Cody Long, Nathan Roberts, Haiden Smith, Jim Smith, and Jason Howard.
